Carrera lenses ensure more comfort, greater clarity of vision and protection for your eyes from sun damage. The clear benefit of the lenses results in a reduction of the long-term health risks; this is because our lenses block the harmful Ultra-Violet light (UVA and UVB) given off by the Sun. Sunglasses that don’t offer adequate UV protection in their lenses can in fact cause more damage for the wearer as they shade the eyes, making the pupils dilated. When the pupils are more dilated they allow far more UV rays to reach the susceptible parts of the eye than what occurs without shading, resulting in additional eye related health risks.
